ADPC has played host to a delegation visiting on a fact finding mission from the Economic Cities Authority of Saudi Arabia. The new Authority was established to develop four major economic cities, taking over the work carried out by SAGIA, the Saudi Arabia General Investment Authority. Five million people will live in the four cities, to be built at a cost of AED 220 billion (USD 60 billion). Two distinguished visitors, Dr Abdouh and Mr Hamidaddin, were shown around ADPC, followed by a VIP visit to Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad )and the adjacent Khalifa Port, where they were personally escorted around the two megaprojects by ADPC’s Executive Vice President of Projects, Ashraf Alkhadnazar. Both megaprojects will see their infrastructure completed in Q4, 2012.
