The Cluster signed a 30-year concession agreement in Egypt with the Red Sea Ports Authority (RSPA) to develop and operate a multipurpose terminal at Safaga Sea Port

The Ports Cluster signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Vietnam Marine Administration to explore collaboration in ports, logistics, digital solutions and economic cities and free trade zones, which may enable the Cluster to develop and manage dry ports and inland container depots in Vietnam.

The Ports Cluster signed an agreement with Shandong Ports Group that led to an increase in transport of Chinese passenger vehicles to Khalifa Port for presentation and storage.

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, inaugurates Khalifa Port’s expansion. Khalifa Port achieved a major feat in its ten-year expansion journey, extending its area from 2.43 square kilometres to 8.63 square kilometres and increasing its quay wall from 2.3 km to 12.5 km.

Mugharraq Port was recognised as an international port facility by the UAE’s Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure , in alignment with the guidelines of the International Code for the Security of Ships and Port Facilities (ISPS Code).
