Pioneering Partnerships

In 2012 Abu Dhabi Terminals (ADT) established the first container terminal at Khalifa Port, becoming the first semi-automated terminal in the region, and has developed its capabilities year-on-year. In May 2018, AD Ports Group entered a 30-year partnership with maritime industry stalwart – MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company – to establish a hub in Khalifa Port located within Abu Dhabi Terminals. The agreement includes significant investment on upgrading facilities and more than doubling the port’s handling capacity.
