An Island Paradise with Five Star Service
Welcome to Sir Bani Yas Cruise Beach, the first and only dedicated cruise beach in the Arabian Gulf region. Located on the eastern edge of Sir Bani Yas Island, off Abu Dhabi’s western coast, the 1.3km-long pristine sandy beach is nestled between the sea and a mangrove-filled protected lagoon. The beach offers unparalleled experiences, combining natural beauty, luxury, and cultural heritage.
Since its inception, Sir Bani Yas Cruise Beach has welcomed over 800,000 cruise guests and hosts more than 65 cruise ship calls annually. It has undoubtedly become a vital hub for global cruise tourism in the Middle East.
Sir Bani Yas Cruise Beach has been a Blue Flag certified beach since 2022, due to its adherence to high standards of quality, safety, and environmental sustainability. Sustainability is at the heart of its operations, ensuring the preservation of Sir Bani Yas Island’s unique ecosystem, home to over 15,000 free-roaming animals. The island is one of the most diverse and protected nature reserves in the region.
Thanks to ever-growing demand, the 600m Sir Bani Yas Cruise Jetty was constructed in 2021, which allows docking of two large cruise ships simultaneously. It also allows for overnight cruise itineraries, as it is operational 24/7, thus offering cruise passengers more enjoyable experiences.
Enhanced beach capacity and upgraded facilities, including new cabanas, expanded activity areas, and an all-electric golf buggy fleet, deliver higher operational efficiency and an improved, eco-friendly experience for all. Guests can also experience local Arabic culture at the Beach Majlis, enjoying traditional hospitality and atmosphere, while also shopping for unique souvenirs.
The beach caters to every traveler’s needs – from bespoke excursions tailored for luxury cruise lines, to nature-based eco-tours and family-friendly activities such as wildlife safaris, water sports, and cultural explorations—all while providing world-class relaxation amidst stunning natural landscapes.
Backed by the strategic expertise of AD Ports Group, Sir Bani Yas Cruise Beach continues to innovate in partnership with leading cruise lines and travel providers, driving economic growth and setting new benchmarks for luxury cruise tourism.
