The information technology team at Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) has won a prestigious Middle Eastern award.
The team was presented with the Best Virtualisation Project of the Year trophy at the Network World ME Awards held at the Address Hotel, Dubai Marina.
The judges praised our IT experts for their part in transforming servers to a virtual environment, thereby improving efficiency and cutting costs such as power, storage and cooling charges. ADPC’s team was chosen ahead of nine other companies.
Dr Saif Al Ketbi, VP, Information Technology, commented: “It is a proud moment for the ADPC team, and justifies the hard work which the team has put into their duties. It’s great that a magazine of the stature of Network World has recognised a great team effort.”
