Progress toward the completion of Khalifa Port phase 1 and Phase A of Kizad continues apace with major milestones being reached each month. Over 73 per cent of the port island is now complete as ADPC gears up for the official opening in Q4 2012.
A 12,000 strong workforce employed by ADPC’s contractors is now on site as the company enters the peak building period this year to complete the initial stage of the project. Over the last few months this army of construction workers has been steadily increased to meet major targets and the project is on plan. The next half of the year will see much of the major work realized.
