Kizad Hosts Members of UAE’s Indian Business Council

Kizad hosted an exclusive business networking event for UAE’s Indian Business Council, one of the largest business associations in the country on the 17th of October at the Yas Hotel. The event drew over 150 members from Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah, prominent business leaders from the community, distinguished government officials in the presence of the Indian Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates His Excellency Mr. M. K. Lokesh.

Kizad launched its international road show campaign earlier this year choosing Mumbai as the primary location due to India’s strategic and long standing relationship with the UAE, being the country’s third-largest trading partner with non-oil exports between the two steadily increasing each fiscal year. Following a successful launch in India, Kizad endeavors to solidify its ties with the local Indian business community, whereby the guest were introduced to one of the world’s largest and unique Industrial Zones by Mr. Khaled Salmeen, the Executive Vice President of Industrial Zones at ADPC . The presentation provided a detailed overview of the master plan of the Industrial Zone and the value proposition that Kizad offers to its investors both in free and non free zone environment. It further highlighted the status of the infrastructure works that is progressing fast with the first phase of works for 51 Sq Km of Industrial Zone Area A scheduled to be completed in Q4 of 2012 with an investment of AED 26.5 billion

Remarking on the occasion, Mr. Khaled Salmeen said: “India is one of the most important markets for the country and we believe that Kizad can offer Indian businesses a unique business environment that will allow their businesses to grow exponentially, in turn spurring investment and strengthening the historic relationship between both countries. So far the number of Indian companies that have come forward showing their interests has been extremely encouraging and we look forward to working with them in the near future”
