CAPTAIN ASHRAF MABROUK ADDRESSES “TANKS AND TERMINAL MANAGEMENT” IN ABU DHABI
“Tanks and Terminal Management” is the name of a global conference, which took place from 2-3 September at The Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort and Spa, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Captain Ashraf Mabrouk, ADPC’s Khalifa Port Harbour Master, was one of the key note speakers. His presentation “Abu Dhabi Port Company’s (ADPC) oil transfer procedures” covered the subjects: “Managing Khalifa Port and discussing ADPC regulations”, “Mapping processes and procedures” and “Discussing violations and penalties”.
Focusing on regional challenges in maintaining and optimizing operations of hydrocarbon storage terminals, the conference provided an opportunity to discuss international best practices while looking for solutions to overcome the challenges.
