Khalifa Port and Kizad being showcased at Arab Health 2016

Abu Dhabi Ports, the master developer, operator and manager of ports and Khalifa Industrial Zone in the Emirate, is participating at the 41st edition of Arab Health 2016, the largest healthcare exhibition in the Middle East.

Being held from January 25 to 28 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre, the Arab Health Exhibition and Congress is hosting more than 4,000 companies exhibiting their latest innovations to more than 130,000 healthcare professionals from 163 countries. At the Abu Dhabi Ports’ exhibition stand, the integrated offerings of Khalifa Port and the adjacent Khalifa Industrial Zone (Kizad), which cater to the growing logistics and healthcare sector in Abu Dhabi, are presented to the visitors.

City Pharmacy, one of the UAE’s largest medical and pharmaceutical suppliers, and Life Pharma, which is in the process of setting up the region’s first plant to produce anti-cancer drugs, are two of the many companies that have chosen the Kizad as their manufacturing base, right next to Khalifa Port – the first semi-automated port in the region.

The Kizad’s close proximity to Khalifa Port provides investors with an excellent access to global markets, as well as a comprehensive intermodal transportation and logistics network with optimum supply chain efficiencies.
