The French Minister of Transport, H.E. Thierry Mariani, visited the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad) visitor centre at the Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) HQ, accompanied by the French Ambassador to the UAE, H.E. Alain Azouaou. They were greeted by the Chairman of ADPC, Dr. Sultan Ahmad Al Jaber and ADPC CEO, Tony Douglas, who led them through the Kizad visitor centre presenting the latest developments for the project.
The tour was followed by a brief meeting which concentrated on bilateral relations between Abu Dhabi and France in terms of industry and trade. The delegation then got the chance to tour the Kizad site and see at first hand the development of Khalifa Port, which will see the first phase of its infrastructure, and that of Kizad, completed in Q4 2012.
