Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) has welcomed the MSC Orchestra which made her debut visit to Zayed Port.

The 3,200-passenger cruise liner berthed in Abu Dhabi from 8am until 7pm before continuing its journey to Khor Al Fakkan.

The MSC Orchestra, which belongs to cruise line operator MSC Cruises based in Naples, is one of thirteen ships visiting Abu Dhabi in the current cruise season which is the busiest the capital has seen to date.

The ship received a traditional welcome to Abu Dhabi, with Aayla dancers performing on the quayside when the ship berthed. The disembarking passengers were also offered traditional Emirati food, henna decorations and a chance to pose with a falcon and its Emirati handler.

As part of its Seven-Night-Middle-East cruise tour, the ship will be calling at Zayed Port on a weekly basis until 15 February 2015, making a total of ten visits to Abu Dhabi.

The MSC Orchestra is known for its wide range of entertainment options and Italian ambience that is reminiscent of upscale hotels in Rome and Milan.
