For the first time onsite at Khalifa Port, a MV (medium voltage) cable has been energized. Connected to four powerful generators, the cable was used to supply power for the Konecranes ASC (Automated Stacking Crane) in aisle three. A total of thirty ASCs are to be erected for the semi-automated container terminal at Khalifa Port. Parts for the first thirteen have been delivered, with four already erected by mid-October.
