Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) recently welcomed a delegation of senior government officials and key business leaders from the State of Gujarat, India.
Alongside a tour through the visitor centre at Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad), the delegates were given a site tour of Khalifa Port. Here, they had the opportunity to see the port’s cutting edge container terminal and the port island which spreads over 2.7 sq km.
The purpose of the delegation visit was to explore business and trade opportunities between the State of Gujarat and the UAE. The State of Gujarat is located on the western coast of India and is considered one of the fastest growing economies in the country, mainly focusing on industry sectors related to the fields of construction, power and agriculture.
