18TH MIDDLE EAST IRON AND STEEL CONFERENCE FROM 8-10 DECEMBER IN DUBAI

Abu Dhabi Ports Company ( ADPC) is participating from 8 – 10 December in the 18th Middle East Iron and Steel Conference, one of the largest gatherings of iron and steel professionals in the region, which is currently being held at Atlantis, The Palm, in Dubai.

More than 750 key players and decision makers from the region’s iron and steel industry are taking part in the conference which has been organised by MetalBulletin Events.

ADPC is represented at the event with a multimedia stand featuring its flagship deepwater Khalifa Port and the adjacent Kizad. Both, Khalifa Port and Kizad, are a prime example of Abu Dhabi’s comprehensive logistics offerings with unprecedented infrastructures supporting the emirate’s various import and export activities.

During all three days of the conference, officials from both ADPC and its subsidiary Kizad are welcoming visitors at their stand (no. 13) where they are given the opportunity to find out more about Khalifa Port’s and Kizad’s industry advantages.

Khalifa Port is one of the fastest growing ports in the region and designed to cater for the massive expected seaborne trade in the years to come. At present, the port serves 20 shipping lines and offers direct links to 52 destination ports around the globe.

Kizad is intrinsically linked to Khalifa Port. Both offer optimum supply chain efficiencies, a remarkable intermodal transportation network and excellent market access. So far, more than 60 national and international investors from numerous industries, including the iron and steel sector, have chosen Kizad as their production or logistics base.
