ADPC honored by visit of Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) the master developer of ports and industrial zones in the emirate of Abu Dhabi was honored to welcome Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Wednesday 12 March, and to escort him around Khalifa Port and Kizad industrial zone.

Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, accompanied by His Excellency Falah Al Ahbabi, General Manager of the Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council and Engineer Amer Al Hammadi, Executive Director of Planning and Infrastructure at Abu Dhabi Urban Planing Council were welcomed by Capt Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, ADPC CEO and Khaled Salmeen, MD of Kizad and Chairman of Abu Dhabi Terminals.

The extensive tour included a comprehensive discussion about Kizad industrial zone, it’s supply chain efficient vertically integrated clusters, its selling points for investors and a visit to the One stop shop – to understand how Kizad has worked with its partners to deliver ‘ease of doing business’ for its investors.

The VIP group then visited Khalifa Port, looking at every aspect of the port operations from the Documentation Centre to the Container Freight Station and Container Terminal Operations.

Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi said: ‘It was a very special honor to show His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan around the industrial zone and port, we are grateful for his interest in our business and for the opportunity to explain more about the challenges and nature of our industry.’
