ADPC, a master developer and manager of ports and Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad) in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, welcomed business partners and stakeholders to the second edition of its corporate golf event, the “ADPC Golf Tournament 2013” today, at Saadiyat Island Golf Club and Resort, on Wednesday.
The special invitation-only event was made up of players from ADPC’s business partners, stakeholders and some of its own staff. With the inaugural event, last year, proving such a success, organisers have claimed there were no shortage of volunteers raring to volunteer to tee off at this year’s event.
Commenting on the tournament’s qualities as a great way to reward ADPC’s business partners, Capt. Mohamed Al Shamisi, Executive Vice President, Ports, ADPC, said:
“The tournament was introduced last year as a means of bringing together some of ADPC’s closest and most valued business partners and stakeholders, but judging by the seriousness of the competitors, I can honestly see it turning into a serious event on the corporate sporting calendar.”
Tournament players later joined the ADPC team in enjoying the Saadiyat Island Golf Club’s hospitality, for a gala dinner where the winners were announced and other prizes handed out.
