Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) started the 43rd National-Day celebrations with a festive outdoor event on 27 November at Khalifa Port and Zayed Port.
ADPC employees from different departments came together and enjoyed delicious Emirati food, traditional music and dancing. The highlights of the event were a car decoration and a poetry competition which took place at the ADPC head office building, next to Zayed Port.
Employees from across the business had been asked to write poems to express their feelings on the celebration of the Emirate’s 43rd National Day.
The impressive collection of poems was read aloud by the poets, as part of the festivities. They reflected the true spirit of the Union, honouring the late President of the UAE His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan as the founder of the nation, and the UAE as a flourishing, future-oriented country.
ADPC extended heartfelt congratulations to the leadership of the UAE and all of its citizens on the very special occasion of the 43rd National Day.
