ADPC received over four and a half thousand CVs from Emiratis who visited our stand at Tawdheef 2011, Abu Dhabi’s largest recruitment show, with visitor numbers up 28% from last year. The three day event, held at ADNEC, attracted 28,000 attendees, with the first two days reserved exclusively for Emirati visitors.
The stand was manned by our HR team, with leading representatives from all departments of ADPC visiting the stand, such as CEO Tony Douglas, Ports EVP Tawfeeq Al Mubarak, HR and Administration VP, Abdullah Al Hameli, and VP of Marketing, Industrial Zones, Kevin Storey.
Mohamed Al Mansoori, ADPC HR Officer, who spent three days on the stand at the event, hailed it a great success: “We were very impressed by the high levels of interest shown in ADPC, and Kizad, and found that people were very enthusiastic about finding about more.” Fortune Marerwa, our Recruitment Coordinator, has been sifting through the CVs : “We’re delighted to say that we’ve found some very well qualified and enthusiastic candidates, and we’ve already started interviewing some of the leading applicants. We’re very much committed to Emiratisation and we aim to bring the highest calibre Emiratis to the company, and Tawdheef has proved itself an excellent tool, once again.”
