300 CARE PARCELS DISTRIBUTED TO SEAFARERS IN ZAYED PORT, THE FREE PORT AND THE NEW FREE PORT.
Abu Dhabi Ports has helped the Angel Appeal and volunteer students from New York University Abu Dhabi to distribute 300 care parcels to seafarers in Zayed Port, the Free Port and the New Free Port.
The distribution took place on Sunday 29 March and the parcels containing toiletries, drinks, snacks and clothing were shared with the seafarers working on ships berthed in the ports.
Abu Dhabi Ports often supports the Angel Appeal and other similar charities in their activities to reach out to seafarers working on ships visiting the ports. Seafarers are often away from home for many months at a time and yet we all rely on the goods and products that ships bring to us each day in our ports.
