ADPC has worked with the voluntary organization The International Association for Human Values (IAHV) to distribute more than 700 gift parcels to contractors, outsourced employees and truck drivers working in or visiting Zayed Port.
The distribution of gift parcels took place on Tuesday 23 September and was organized by ADPC’s operational staff at the port. The special gift parcels contained clothes, caps, shoes and toiletries for the workers.
The IAVH has a programme of activity to support labourers across the emirate working in different locations, the organization was established to offer programmes such as this, to reduce stress and develop leaders that human values can flourish in people and communities.
ADPC helps to organize distributions by voluntary organisations like this as a way to recognize and support the many hundreds of people working in its ports, employed by customers or partner organisations.
