Abu Dhabi Ports expands to Pakistan with a 50 years long term concession agreement

Under the terms of the 50-year concession agreement, a Joint Venture between AD Ports Group and Kaheel Terminals, a UAE-based company has been formed to manage, operate and develop the Karachi Gateway Limited (KGTL), berths 6-9 at Karachi Port’s East Terminal.
In addition to the operational aspect of the agreement, Abu Dhabi Ports will be leading the development of Karachi Port’s infrastructure where it will operate. This will strengthen the development of the operation and increasing the Port capabilities to increase its capacity.
With the strategic geographical location of Karachi Port as a trading hub for South Asia, the Arab World and Africa, the Abu Dhabi Ports is committed to the fulfillment of the vision of AD Ports Group, which is global trade enablement.
