As part of a dynamic and sustained drive to improve facilities at its ports across the Western Region, ADPC has launched improvements at Al Sila port, its most westerly operation.
At the site, the company has moved a strategic pontoon from the south basin to the north basin.
Mohamad Trabulsi, Engineering Manager, Project Development, ADPC comments: “Fishermen in particular will benefit from the relocation. It’s just one of many changes we’re planning to make for the Western Region Ports.”
ADPC is involved in talks with communities across Al Gharbia to boost local port facilities. At Marfa Port, for example, consultants have submitted final plans for the refurbishment of the port, to help commercial fishermen and to promote marine sports.
