MS Hamburg celebrates maiden call at Zayed Port
The MS Hamburg has called at Zayed Port for the first time ever as part of its cruise tour through the Middle East on Saturday 15 March.
The MS Hamburg stayed a full day in Abu Dhabi. During which time, the passengers and crew had the opportunity to experience some of the emirate’s wonderful landscape, cultural heritage and award-winning attractions.
Built in 1997, the MS Hamburg is a German luxury cruise liner which has a capacity for 590 passengers and crew members. The ship has six decks, a length of 144 meters, and is 21.5 meters wide. With a top speed of 16 knots (29.6 km/h), the cruise liner is currently completing a round the world tour.
After its stop in Abu Dhabi, the MS Hamburg will visit Oman and, then will be calling at ports in Yemen, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, before heading towards the Mediterranean.
