H.E.Nasser Ahmed Alsowaidi and Khaled Salmeen Al Kawari
As part of the Abu Dhabi Investment Forum organized by the Department of Economic Development, H.E. Nasser Ahmed Alsowaidi, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development, and with Mr. Khaled Salmeen Al Kawari, Executive Vice President of Industrial Zones ADPC, launched the registration of free zone companies within Kizad. As part of the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030, Kizad will be focusing on advanced industries in the following clusters: Aluminium, Engineered Metals, Steel, Petrochemical and Chemical, Pharmaceutical, food and warehousing and logistics. This comes at a time when Kizad is embarking on its international launch road show which began in Hannover in Germany and then progressed to Mumbai on 25th May and will end with the US market later this year.
Commenting on this occasion, H.E. Nasser Ahmed Alsowaidi said, “We are delighted to be launching the Free Zone company registration with Kizad today as it solidifies our efforts in attracting direct foreign investment into Abu Dhabi. Our presence in Korea and other markets is in line with Abu Dhabi’s Economic Vision 2030 and as part of this; we look to support all our partners in fulfilling their role toward a diversified economy”
Mr. Salmeen commented, “The DED have been instrumental in our development, and today’s launch by H.E. Nasser Ahmed Alsowaidi enforces Abu Dhabi’s intent for a knowledge based industrial economy. As such, we are pursuing our target markets for 2011 with a clear statement that our commitment to high standard of excellence will continue to grow.”
