The AmCham Abu Dhabi paid a visit to Khalifa Port and Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad) on 17 April.
AmCham Abu Dhabi is the American Business Group of Abu Dhabi, which is a member of the global network of American Chambers of Commerce.
The visit included a tour of Khalifa Port and the terminal operations building, where the visitors got a chance to experience the operational side of the port’s high tech state-of-the-art equipment. The visit continued to the Kizad visitor center, where the visitors were able to examine the intermodal transport links and the vertically integrated clusters linking downstream producers, mid and upstream manuafacturers.
AmCham Abu Dhabi works to increase trade, investment, and goodwill between the United States of America and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the aim of the visit was to seek future commercial cooperation opportunities between the two entities.
