ADPC’s IT team is celebrating winning two honours.
The magazine Computer News ME included Dr Saif Al Ketbi, the company’s VP of Information Technology, in a list of fifty “leading lights of IT leadership in the Middle East”, at the CIO 50 Awards 2012.
Dr Al Ketbi received the honour at the ceremony in Dubai, joined by a hundred other counterparts. The CIO 50 Awards celebrates the top 50 organisations in the UAE, and their IT heads, that are using information technology in innovative ways to deliver business value.
The department was also recognised as one of the government organizations thanked by the telecoms company Du at its first “gratitude forum” for using its services. In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, ADPC was thanked for supportingDu in its first five years of operation. Du says that it has attracted five million customers.
