A group of 45 MBA students from INSEAD, the Business School for the World in Abu Dhabi, visited ADPC on 21 December.
The students are currently taking part in the MBA Abu Dhabi Action Learning Module which combines classroom learning with company visits and project work, as well as networking and career development events.
The group’s visit was part of the module and gave the students an opportunity to meet maritime industry professionals and see one of the world’s most technologically advanced ports in the world: Khalifa Port.
After visiting the Terminal Operations Building (TOB), from where the students had the chance to see Khalifa Port’s state-of-the-art container terminal, the group toured the Kizad visitor centre.
Here, ADPC officials gave an overview of Khalifa Port and the adjacent Kizad trade and logistics zone. In a Q&A session, the students learned about the master plan behind Khalifa Port and Kizad and their significant contribution in ADPC’s mission to build sustainable industries for the future of this country.
