ADPC, master developer of port and industrial zones, and Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad) have sponsored two heritage festivals for the local community. Both events were linked to the UAE National Day celebrations on 2 December.
The Fifth Al Samha Heritage Festival (21-13 Nov) took place at the Al Rahba Heritage Club, and included a performance stage, a sponsors display area, traditional food, fishing section and a children’s playing area. The festival at the Emirates Park Zoo (24-26 Nov) also included a traditional food section, a sponsors section, alongside an animal park and playing area.
Mohamed Al Shamisi, Acting CEO ADPC commented: “Both of these events are important events for our local communities. Khalifa Port and Kizad industrial zone are together the UAE’s biggest infrastructure project and they are already contributing towards the development and prosperity of these areas. As a result, ADPC is keen to demonstrate through sponsorship and participation in events that it is part of the local community and is committed to the future growth and prosperity of those living nearby.
“National Day is a very special day for all Emiratis, and Khalifa Port and Kizad Industrial zone are inspirational projects and part of the future of the UAE and its plans for economic diversification.”
