ADPC and ADMA officially thank diving record breakers
Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) and Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (ADMA-OPCO) have thanked all those who took part in the “Dive together to protect our marine environment” campaign at a formal presentation event held at ADPC’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi.
The campaign took place at the end of April and attracted a record-breaking 300 volunteer divers, who together, collected a nine tonnes of waste from the seabed in Abu Dhabi’s Ports.
Alongside the divers, a total of 18 government and private entities – sponsors, partners and supporters – all helped support and contribute to the campaign success.
“We are very grateful for the efforts of all those who took part in this important campaign,” said Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi.
“We thank them all for their enthusiasm, commitment and hard work to put this campaign together” he added.
