Abu Dhabi Ports―the master developer, operator and manager of ports and industrial zones in the emirate―is participating in NATRANS Conference, the region’s premier conference for the rail, road and maritime sectors, being held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in Abu Dhabi from October 25 to 27. Noura Al Dhaheri, Manager of Maqta Gateway―a new purpose-built port community system―at Abu Dhabi Ports, along with Javier Gallardo, Project Director at the Port of Barcelona, made a presentation about the system at the Middle East Maritime Conference of NATRANS.
Abu Dhabi Ports with its strategic partnership of the Port of Barcelona is developing Maqta Gateway that has recently celebrated its halfway mark of the phase-1 implementation. The system integrates all parties involved in Abu Dhabi’s growing import and export trade business, and expediting trade by converting and implementing all port operations through a single point-of-access.
