CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal at Khalifa Port | Abu Dhabi Ports

Creating Belt and Road Co-operation

Inaugurated in 2018, Khalifa Port’s second container Terminal – CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal – is a concession agreement between AD Ports Group and COSCO SHIPPING Ports. COSCO’s first international greenfield subsidiary represents a strategic hub along China’s Belt and Road initiative with the largest Container Freight Station (CFS) in the region. The deep-water facility can accommodate 20,000+ TEU mega vessels. The terminal will be the first in the Middle East to implement an autonomous port truck system solidifying CSP Abu Dhabi Terminal and Khalifa Port’s standing as one of the most advanced maritime facilities in the region. The facility particularly benefits companies established in the JOCIC free zone of Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD Group) connecting them to wider international markets.
