Vision & Expansion

Business growth and customer demand led us to embark on an expansion programme in a bid to increase the port’s handling volumes and capabilities. By increasing direct deep-water access, yard and warehousing facilities and offering land plots, we help facilitate opportunities for businesses. This significant expansion in South Quay, as well as Khalifa Port Logistics (KPL), signals a new era for Khalifa Port, enabling it to accommodate vessels of all sizes and types. Additionally, thanks to our recent agreement with CMA CGM we will also increase our container handling capacity exponentially.

Strategic Location & Multi-Modal Connectivity

Khalifa Port has deep water access, linking cargo ships to an expansive network of sea trade routes. Easy access to a modern highway system, airports and direct rail connectivity, as well as close proximity to the region’s largest economic zone (KEZAD Group) ensure efficient movement of goods. Our ample infrastructure and multi-modal connectivity via land, sea and air combine together for seamless logistical solutions.

Environment & Sustainability

Economic ambition is matched only by AD Ports Group’s commitment to working in harmony with its surroundings. By constantly monitoring marine ecosystems and taking all the necessary precautions to protect them, AD Ports Group safeguards both its economic and environmental future.

Equal value is also placed on the people who help run the Port; of the 55 nationalities that make up the workforce, over half are UAE nationals and more than 80% of female employees are Emirati.
