Key Maritime industry players attend networking session

Seatrade and Turret Media hosts networking afternoon in the Dubai World Trade Centre ahead of inaugural World Ports & Trade Summit in Abu Dhabi

The event which took place at the Dubai World Trade Centre Club, saw key industry figures from maritime companies such as ADPC, DP World, Liebherr, Kanoo and ABS come together to discuss key industry topics and trends.

Chris Fountain, Managing Director of Turret Media delivered the welcome speech with a brief overview of global and regional industry issues that will be examined at the upcoming World Ports and Trade summit which takes place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre between March 28th and 30th.

Captain Mohamed Al Shamisi, Vice President-Port Operations, ADPC, also addressed the delegates with a brief industry update on trends and activity.

Among some of the experts present were Andrew Callaghan- Global Sales Director – Seatrade, and Omar Abu Omar – District Manager – DNV.
