Abdullah Humaid Al Hameli
Chief Executive Officer – Abu Dhabi Terminals
Abdulla Humaid Al Hameli is the Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi Terminals (ADT), a private stock company owned by Abu Dhabi Ports and is responsible for operation and management of Khalifa Port Container Terminal.
In his current role, Mr. Al Hameli oversees ADT’s plans and strategies, which is set to witness a significant growth following the recent signing between Abu Dhabi Ports and MSC.
In addition, Al Hameli is also the Executive Vice President – Corporate Support at Abu Dhabi Ports. In his role, Mr. Al Hameli oversees the support functions of Human Resource Administration, IT, Procurement, Corporate Communications and Branding and Asset Management, addressing the requirements of over 800 employees.
Prior to his current positions, Mr. Al Hameli worked as HR Manager where he successfully managed the common processes and day-to-day operations of the Human Resources
department, while supporting the company by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resource policies, programs and practices.
Before joining Abu Dhabi Ports, Mr. Al Hameli worked with one of companies operated by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company’s (ADNOC). He oversaw the planning, coordination and provision of the administrative services in line with the company’s requirements, and monitored the day-to-day operations of government relations.
In this role he was responsible for four stations covering more than 600 employees, as well as being the focal point for the National Recruitment Committee in ADNOC, and a member of the Selection Committee for Senior Marine Personnel.
Mr. Al Hameli holds a Master Degree in Strategic Intelligence National Defense College – UAE GHQ Armed Forces. He also holds a BA in Economics from Portland State University, Oregon, USA, in addition to other professional qualifications.
